About Jan Hales

Jan Marie Hales founded Jan Hales Designs in December of 2010 after graduating from The University of Alabama in Interior Design. She is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers ("ASID"). Jan interned for designers in Tuscaloosa and Foley, AL. Jan has had a lifelong interest for Interior Design; as a child she was always fascinated by interiors, looking at details of homes, offices, and museums. In High School, Jan designed condos, a movie room addition, helped revamp her family's home, and her dad’s law office. As a student, Jan approached every project with enthusiasm and creativity. As an intern, Jan applied the skills taught through her Interior Design courses to real-world projects.

Jan’s experience, combined with her passion for design, has equipped her to approach any project with energy and originality. Jan Hales Designs services include furnishing residential and small commercial spaces, staging, and selecting paint colors and finishes, and more.  No project is too small or too large for Jan to share her unique design ability.
